Job summary

Sunmount Paving is seeking an entry‑level Asphalt Paving Laborer in Texas to assist with hot mix asphalt and road construction tasks. You will work primarily by hand, supporting paver operations and equipment operators on site.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, shoveling, and helping ensure smooth asphalt surfaces. Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to understand verbal and visual instructions and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Walk alongside Asphalt Paver operations to identify areas needing attention.
• Use hand tools to smooth asphalt surfaces.
• Serve as spotter for dump trucks and heavy equipment.
• Operate small equipment such as broom tractors and rollers as assigned.
• Assist with task coordination and safety procedures.
