The role involves physically demanding tasks such as laying asphalt on roads and driveways, ensuring equipment readiness, and following the directions of the Foreman. Applicants must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities

• Work with a paving crew laying asphalt on roads and driveways.
• Follow the directions of the Foreman on daily tasks.
• Participate in weekly toolbox meetings about safety.

We are now accepting applications for Asphalt Laborers,roller operators, paver operators, etc. with experience to performtasks involving physical labor at construction sites. The person willwork with a paving crew laying asphalt on roads, driveways, parkinglots, etc. Must have valid driver license and reliabletransportation.This is a seasonal job April-November.

Experience and Skills:

• Prior to every use, evaluate the equipment and confirm thatthe equipment from a mechanical and safety standpoint is ready to use.
• Distributes asphalt materials by raking.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Matches and finishes freshly made asphalt paving joints toprovide for a finished surface.
• Frequently performs hand tamping jobs as appropriate on areaswhere the roller could not reach.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refermajor problems to the Foreman.
• Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks andexpectations for each specific project or job site.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in weekly toolboxmeetings with asphalt crew.
• Observes job sites to prior to working to ensure a safe workenvironment is present prior to working.
• Must attend required safety classes.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
