Job summary

Ten Mile Paving Llc in Washington state is seeking self-motivated laborers experienced in or willing to learn asphalt paving. Starting rate at $30 per hour for hot mix asphalt, with year-round opportunities in other divisions during winter.

You will shovel, grade, and finish asphalt, operate paving equipment with training, follow safety rules, wear PPE, and work overtime or nights as needed. We offer health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt paving and/or road construction preferred.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check.
• Have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate for DOT vehicles.
• Be willing to work holidays, weekends and nights when necessary.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of asphalt paving equipment and operation.
• Prepare and clean construction sites; dispose of debris.
• Shovel, rake, and finish asphalt materials on projects.
• Assist in placement and movement of traffic control devices.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site; wear PPE.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
