Job Description Summary

The successful candidate will work in a team environment, supporting construction and paving crews with various duties:

• Ensure safety by following all policies and using proper tools and equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulations and report problems to management.
• Assist with tasks such as shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow operation, and signaling equipment operators.
• Follow instructions for daily tasks and specific project requirements.
• Operate small power tools like jackhammers.
• Dig, spread, level materials, and assist with traffic control setup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
• Provide valid I-9 documentation.
• Maintain professionalism and punctuality.
• Be willing to travel, work nights, weekends, and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
