We are hiring for the position of Asphalt Laborer/Operator at DSK Dom Jsc. The role involves various responsibilities related to asphalt paving and construction site maintenance.

Responsibilities

1. Operate asphalt paving equipment including pavers, rollers, skid steers, milling machines, and tack and tarring machines.
2. Prepare construction sites by removing debris and waste.
3. Shovel, rake, and finish asphalt and other materials such as concrete and dirt.
4. Assist with traffic control and placement of traffic control devices.
5. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, handle materials and tools properly.
6. Lift and carry objects of various weights.
7. Help maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality.
8. Use PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, high visibility vests, steel toe boots, and gloves.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting other divisions.

Position Requirements

1. Experience in asphalt paving and road construction is preferred.
2. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
3. Willingness to work holidays, weekends, nights, and overtime.
4. Follow instructions from management regarding daily tasks.
5. Ability to work in various weather conditions.
6. Report to work at scheduled times.
7. Attention to detail and ability to work under stress.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in diverse climate conditions, with moderate to high noise levels due to machinery.
