Job Description Summary

• Support asphalt crews through general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, and maintaining a clean, safe job site. Experience as a ground worker, power broom operator, or skid steer operator is a plus.

Requirements

• Physical ability to operate equipment in extreme temperatures and for extended hours (typically 8-12 hours).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with co-workers and managers.
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and OSHA guidelines, using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
• Adhere to manager’s directions regarding daily tasks and project expectations.
• Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery, and equipment used on-site.
• Ensure proper upkeep of tools and work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Flexibility for schedule changes, overtime, and out-of-town work as needed.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly are desirable.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with co-workers, clients, and the public.
• Pass a drug test and criminal background check.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
