Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator in Crofton, MD to safely operate asphalt and heavy construction equipment such as skid steers, rollers, tack trucks, and paving machines. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of hands-on experience with multiple equipment types.

Responsibilities include inspections, proper material placement, and coordinating with foremen to ensure safe, efficient paving operations on projects across North America. Travel is daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience operating asphalt paving or heavy construction equipment.
• Must be able to safely operate multiple types of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of asphalt and heavy construction equipment.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain proper material placement, grade, and compaction.
• Communicate with foremen and crew to ensure safe, efficient paving operations.
