Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a field crew member to support asphalt placement on highways, parking lots, and driveways. You will work with hand tools, rake and shovel, and collaborate with the crew to meet project specifications.

This role requires outdoor work in extreme weather, strict adherence to safety rules and PPE, and the ability to maintain density standards. CDL is preferred but not required; competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of road construction experience preferred.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rake, shovel, and assist with hot mix asphalt placement on highways and driveways.
• Work with crew to apply asphalt according to plan specifications and meet daily schedules.
• Perform related tasks such as dirt/stone shoveling and sweeping; adapt to weather.
