Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials is hiring a Density Technician/Laborer for seasonal production work on highway projects. You will assist in applying hot mix asphalt and support the crew with raking, shoveling, and site maintenance.

The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions; CDL is preferred and 1+ year road construction experience is helpful. This is a fulltime seasonal position based in Michigan.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of road construction experience preferred.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate with hot mix asphalt (HMA) by raking and shoveling.
• Support crew in asphalt application on highways, private roadways, parking lots, and driveways.
• Shovel dirt, asphalt, or stone and sweep as part of heavy highway construction; adapt to extreme weather.
