Job summary

Preferred Materials - Asphalt Division, a CRH company, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support asphalt paving operations across multiple sites in the region. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, assisting with maintenance tasks, and ensuring safety compliance on job sites.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment, and travel to different construction sites within the geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Effectively distribute asphaltic material by raking and shoveling.
• Match and finish freshly made asphalt joints evenly.
• Level and adjust surface irregularities, restore surface finish, spread asphalt to proper grade and finish before compaction.
• Move and deliver tools, equipment, and materials to locations throughout the job site.
• May perform other duties including but not limited to operating equipment and assisting with maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Load & unload from work truck and clean tools and equipment.
• Routinely assist other members of the work force in different areas of production.
• Must be able to travel and work to multiple construction sites within your geographic region.
• Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public.
