Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking a part-time interpreter to provide professional ASL interpreting via video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site at customer locations as needed.

You will uphold the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct and demonstrate fluent ASL and English alongside accurate interpretation. The role requires flexibility to accept new assignments, adherence to high service standards, and travel to various sites as required.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation skills essential.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or state credentials if applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

• Provide high-quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
