Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services with both full-time and part-time positions in the US and Canada. In Center locations include Chattanooga, TN with flexible scheduling to meet monthly targets.

Qualifications include ASL skills, passing required assessments, a high school diploma or GED (associate/bachelor preferred), interpreter certification as required by local regulations, and 3+ years of interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Association or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Interpreter certification may be required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements.
• Follow Sorenson standards, FCC regulations and RID Code of Conduct.
• Maintain attendance per policy and adapt to scheduling needs.
• Complete tasks and documentation promptly within guidelines.
• Learn and implement new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
