Job summary

CaptionCall in Tampa provides ASL-based video relay service training and installations across assigned regions. The Outreach Trainer educates customers on Sorenson VRS devices, conducts on-site visits, and supports training events with sales and marketing teams.

The role requires frequent travel (local daily travel 50-75%), strong ASL skills, and excellent written communication. Onsite support and VRS equipment installations are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Strong customer service experience and ability to educate customers.
• Willingness to travel to customer homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on how to use Sorenson VRS device using ASL.
• Travel to customer homes and businesses for training, service calls and installations.
• Educate customers on features and benefits of SVRS services and products.
• Participate in events with Sales/Outreach and Marketing to educate institutions and organizations.
• Participate in seminars with deaf constituents on using Sorenson services.
