Job summary

CaptionCall, a Sorenson Communications division, seeks an Outreach Trainer fluent in ASL to educate customers on Sorenson VRS, install and train on devices, and travel to homes and businesses in the assigned area.

You will participate in events with the Sales/Outreach and Marketing groups to educate institutions and customers about the benefits of Sorenson VRS. Travel will be 50-75% of the time, including long distances as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience installing Sorenson VRS equipment and providing customer service.
• Strong written and ASL communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on how to use Sorenson VRS devices via ASL.
• Travel to customer homes and businesses for training, service calls and installations.
• Educate customers on features and benefits of SVRS services and products.
• Participate in events with Sales/Outreach and Marketing to educate institutions and organizations about Sorenson VRS.
• Attend seminars and training sessions with deaf constituents to promote Sorenson services.
