Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC is seeking an Outreach Trainer to educate customers on Sorenson VRS devices and services, primarily using ASL. The role involves traveling to customer homes and businesses to provide VRS training, service calls, and new installations in the assigned area.

Responsibilities include demonstrating SVRS features, participating in Sales/Outreach events, and guiding customers through setup.

Qualifications

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Excellent written and ASL communication skills
• Extensive computer skills and knowledge of the Internet, routers, hubs, switches and installation
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to provide required documentation (insurance, registration)
• Willing and able to travel long distances by car or plane and stay overnight
• Sorenson Communications default provider for work VP and mobile devices

Responsibilities

• Communicate using ASL to educate customers on how to use their Video Relay Service device.
• Travel to customer homes and businesses performing VRS training, service calls and new installations in the assigned area.
• Educate customers on how to use SVRS features and benefits.
• Participate in events with Sales/Outreach and Marketing to educate institutions, customers and organizations about Sorenson VRS.
• Participate in seminars and training sessions with deaf constituents on using Sorenson services
