Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions seeks an Educational Interpreter (ASL) to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a public school district in Franklin, TN. This in-person role runs 37.5 hours per week under a W2 local or travel arrangement from 08/10/2026 to 05/27/2027.

The interpreter will provide fluent ASL interpretation, convert voice to sign and vice versa, and support access to education with culturally responsive practice within a K-12 setting.

Qualifications

• Fluency in American Sign Language to interpret and communicate with student and staff
• Interpret sign language for deaf students and voice for the student when needed
• Facilitate communication and educational access for deaf and hard of hearing student(s)
• Perform signing activities; convert voice to sign language and vice versa
• Provide specially designed instruction as needed
• Execute accurate, timely, impartial signing with strong receptive skills
• Apply interpreting principles and techniques for deaf learners
• Use educational interpreting vocabulary in a school setting

Responsibilities
