Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking an in-home care professional to support individuals with disabilities. The role emphasizes hands-on assistance, safety, and daily living activities within home and community settings.

You will use ASL to communicate, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure compassionate, person-centered care by following individualized service plans and documenting progress and needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to communicate with American Sign Language (ASL).
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification with acceptable clearance.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience or working with disability individuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Provide direct supervision and hands-on assistance.
• Document transportation, billing and program information.
• Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to care plans.
• Maintain safety and follow training requirements.
