Tanna Orthodontics in Eastvale, CA is hiring a certified assistant who loves working with kids and families. You’ll support Dr. Tanna and Dr. Patel during visits and help with braces and aligners to keep appointments running smoothly.

You’ll take digital scans, maintain clean, sterile rooms, and explain procedures in plain language. The role also includes social media posting, event planning, and building partnerships with schools and local businesses.

Qualifications

• OA permit or equivalent dental assisting certification.
• X-ray certificate and CPR/BLS certification are required.
• Dependable attendance is essential.
• Comfortable with social media and basic photo editing.
• Able to work some events outside office hours.
• Nice to have orthodontic experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during visits to ensure smooth and on-time appointments.
• Help with braces and aligner appointments.
• Take digital scans and records correctly.
• Maintain sterilization and infection-control protocols.
• Explain procedures in plain language.
• Post to our social channels and celebrate patient milestones with written permission.
• Help plan and run community events, like school and sports sponsorships.

What you’ll do in the chair

• Assist Dr. Tanna and Dr. Patel, so every visit runs smoothly and on time
• Help with braces and aligner appointments
• Take digital scans and records right the first time
• Keep every room clean and ready, following our sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Explain what’s happening in plain, friendly language

Beyond the chair

• Post to our social channels and celebrate patient milestones, with written permission first [CHECK THIS: platforms and posts per week]
• Help plan and run community events, like school and sports sponsorships [CHECK THIS: events per quarter]
• Build friendly relationships with schools, coaches, and local businesses

What you’ll need

• One of the following:
  • Orthodontic Assistant (OA) permit
• • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• • Dental assisting certificate (minimum)
• x-ray certificate, CPR/BLS
• Dependable attendance
• Comfortable with social media and basic photo editing on a phone
• Able to work some events outside office hours

Nice to have

• Orthodontic experience
• Canva or similar design tools
• Bilingual in English, Spanish and/or Mandarin
