Job summary

All Smiles Orthodontics in Frankfort, Illinois is seeking a dynamic Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. This role involves welcoming and assisting patients during their treatment while ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and show a commitment to quality care. Experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is preferred. Both fulltime and part time positions are available, along with benefits like dental and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous dental or orthodontic assistant experience preferred.
• Exceptional manual dexterity.

WE WILL TRAIN!

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Explain the dental care visit with patients and answer any questions they may have
• Prep sterilized equipment
• Bond brackets, Invisalign attachments, bond fixed retainers, take impression, full dental records etc.
• Ortho adjustments
• Assist orthodontist in providing quality care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Utilize computer systems for inputting accurate treatment notes
• Ability to collaborate with others in being a team player

Experience

• Previous dental or orthodontic assistant experience preferred

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Half day Saturday
