Sher Smiles Orthodontics in Broadview Heights, OH is seeking a qualified and caring Orthodontic Assistant. You will assist the dentist during adjustments and bondings, schedule appointments, and handle administrative tasks while delivering top-notch patient care.
The ideal candidate holds a CODA-accredited Associate’s Degree and current CDA or DANB license, with at least one year of orthodontic experience, strong computer skills, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from CODA-accredited program.
- Current CDA certificate or DANB licensure.
- Experience as an orthodontic assistant.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
- Record and update medical/health history accurately.
- Prep sterilized equipment for orthodontist’s use.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
- Schedule appointments.

We are seeking a qualified and caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing office! As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will provide highest quality dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during adjustments and bondings/debondings and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has a current license and at least one year of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Accurately record & update medical/healthhistory
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the orthodontist for appointments and procedures
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Schedule appointments
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board’s (DANB)
- Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
