Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a DTCO and Timing Engineer to perform DTCO analysis and timing evaluation for advanced process technologies across Mobile, Compute, Automotive and IoT markets.

The role requires Spice simulations for power and performance validation and sign-off, with involvement in RTL-to-GDS flow and PPAY optimization in close collaboration with foundry DTCO teams, CAD/EDA partners and IP teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with relevant ASIC experience.
• Experience in Spice simulations for power/performance validation.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python/Perl/TCL/Unix shell.

Responsibilities

• Perform DTCO analysis and timing analysis for SOC blocks across 5nm/4nm/2nm technology nodes.
• Conduct Spice simulations (Hspice/Finesim/PrimeSim/AFS/Spectre) for power and performance validation and STA sign-off.
• Support RTL-to-GDS flow and block-level PPA analysis using Genus/Innovus and FC tools.
• Collaborate with foundry DTCO teams, CAD/EDA partners, and IP teams to optimize Fmax, PPAY and cost.
