Bausch + Lomb in the United States is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing to lead 24/7 aseptic filling, preparation/cleaning, and packaging operations at the Greenville, SC plant. The role provides end-to-end ownership for safety, quality, delivery, cost, compliance, and people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent leadership experience may be considered.
• Experience leading GMP manufacturing operations in aseptic, pharmaceutical, medical device, biologics, or other regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead multi-shift or 24/7 operations, including weekend coverage and cross-functional coordination.

Responsabilités

• Provide tactical and long-range directives for 24/7 manufacturing to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance objectives.
• Maintain ownership across all shifts, including weekend responsibilities, escalation, and resource coordination.
• Ensure GMP, FDA, Annex 1, ISO requirements and internal procedures are followed; coach line leaders to uphold standards.
• Set performance expectations and oversight for Aseptic Filling, ensuring readiness and cross-functional support.
• Provide strategic oversight for Preparation and Cleaning, ensuring sanitation and readiness.
• Direct Packaging performance with governance for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer service.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, OEE, 5S, visual management, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse on schedules, CAPAs, deviations, and new equipment startup.
• Develop teammates through coaching, feedback, and recognition to maximize performance.
