Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Greenville, SC is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing to lead 24/7 aseptic filling, preparation/cleaning, and packaging operations. You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance, including weekend coverage, while coaching line staff to meet GMP and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, with experience in regulated manufacturing, multi-shift leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent leadership experience may be considered.
• Experience leading GMP manufacturing operations in aseptic, pharmaceutical, medical device, biologics, or other regulated environments.
• Ability to lead multi-shift or 24/7 operations, including weekend coverage and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing, cleaning, packaging, documentation, contamination prevention, and regulatory readiness.
• Proven capability in people leadership, problem solving, continuous improvement, and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical and long-range directives for 24/7 manufacturing to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance goals.
• Maintain ownership across all shifts, including weekend duties and escalation to ensure production continuity.
• Ensure GMP, FDA, ISO, and internal quality standards are understood and followed by line teams.
• Oversee Aseptic Filling, Preparation/Cleaning, and Packaging with resources and cross-functional support.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, OEE improvement, 5S, and continuous improvement across operations.
