Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Greenville, SC is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing to lead 24/7 operations across Aseptic Filling, Preparation/Cleaning, and Packaging. You will own safety, quality, delivery, and cost, ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements while coaching line leaders across shifts.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, weekend coverage, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to sustain continuous production

Qualifications

• Experience leading GMP manufacturing operations in aseptic, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-shift or 24/7 operations, including weekend coverage.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing, cleaning, packaging operations, documentation practices, contamination prevention, and regulatory readiness.
• Proven capability in people leadership, problem solving, continuous improvement, and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical and long-range operational directives for Aseptic Filling, Preparation/Cleaning, and Packaging to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance objectives in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Maintain operational ownership across all shifts, including weekend responsibilities, issue escalation, resource coordination, and decision-making to ensure production continuity.
• Establish expectations for team’s understanding of GMP, FDA, Annex 1, ISO requirements, approved batch records, SOPs, contamination-control expectations, and internal quality systems; coach line leaders to meet standards.
• Set performance expectations and provide managerial oversight for Aseptic Filling, ensuring line leadership has resources and cross-functional support to meet targets.
• Drive operations oversight for Preparation, Cleaning, and Packaging, ensuring readiness and adherence to standards while resolving constraints.
• Direct Packaging performance through governance and accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, compliance, and customer service.
