Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Wilson, NC is hiring a Director, Aseptic DP Process Engineering to lead end-to-end process engineering for a new manufacturing node. You will supervise equipment and facility design, ensuring cGMP compliance and readiness for commissioning.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, drive capital project execution, and align with Manufacturing, Facilities, MSAT, Quality, and Procurement to deliver safe, scalable biotherapeutic operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
• MS or MBA preferred.
• A minimum 15+ years in drug product/cGMP environment, with process engineering or capital projects.
• A minimum 5+ years of people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process engineering design for a new DP aseptic facility.
• Oversee warehouse, labs, utilities, preparation, filling, inspection, and device assembly.
• Manage vendor selection, bid reviews, and project execution.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Facilities, MSAT, Quality, and Procurement.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and readiness for commissioning and qualification.
• Mentor and develop engineering team and drive technical excellence.
