Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Wilson, NC seeks a Senior Process Engineer with 10+ years in process engineering or capital project execution of equipment preparation systems (autoclaves, parts washers, COP/SOP) for aseptic manufacturing. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage external partners, and ensure regulatory alignment across EU and US GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering is required; MS or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in process engineering or capital project execution of equipment preparation equipment (autoclaves, parts washers, filter integrity testing, COP/SOP, etc).
• Ability to lead multicultural teams and remote customers; strong partnering with external vendors (A&E, construction firms).
• Understanding of cGMPs for aseptic manufacturing and EU Annex 1 implications; EHS by design and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver equipment preparation area system specifications, drawings (URS, data sheets, P&IDs, PFDs).
• Assess vendor competency, review bid documents, oversee project development and execution.
• Lead detailed design and development with multi-functional team including vendors.
• Lead equipment FAT, SAT, C&Q, and start-up activities.
• Resolve technical issues during C&Q testing and readiness for start of C&Q.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Facilities, MSAT, Quality, Procurement, E&PS, and EHS to expedite activities.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and benchmark against practices; apply data-driven insights.
