Job summary

Merck in Wilson, NC is seeking a Bio Process Operations Technician for the 3rd shift to support aseptic vaccine manufacturing. You will perform primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP, and related operations on the shop floor while maintaining cGMP compliance and quality documentation.

The role involves disinfecting rooms and equipment, managing gowning materials, and collaborating with Maintenance & Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility (aseptic GMP environment strongly preferred).
• Ability to gown and work in an aseptic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations and facility disinfection and cleaning.
• Perform aseptic vaccine manufacturing including primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP.
• Maintain data integrity and complete electronic batch records per SOPs.
• Adhere to safety procedures and 5S in the work area.
