Job summary

The technician must complete required training, obtain ASE certifications, and maintain productivity targets in a fast-paced shop environment. This position is hourly/non-exempt with standard shop expectations.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions for basic automotive problems.
• Apply written or diagrammatic instructions accurately.
• Perform automotive services listed in ASE categories.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority and follow safety policies.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain automotive systems per VIP standards.
• Initiate a valid Service Work Order and tag it to the vehicle.
• Complete required LMS training and safety certifications.
• Attend meetings and support team with shop equipment safety.
