Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems while upholding VIP safety and service standards. This on-site role requires effective communication with customers and teamwork to ensure first-time right workmanship.

You will complete required trainings, maintain ASE certifications, and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process. Standard work week is five days, 40 hours, with non-exempt hourly compensation.

Qualifications

Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures.
Explain vehicle information to customers clearly.
Diagnose and repair automotive problems.

Responsibilities

Ensure workplace safety and follow safety policies.
Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems per ASE scope.
Initiate and display a valid Service Work Order before service.
Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
Procure needed parts through Desk Team and return unused parts.
Maintain productivity targets and comply with VIP policies and procedures.
