Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures or governmental regulations.
• Explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to successfully perform required types of automotive services listed above.

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive systems diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for customers, including ASE-certified areas.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and remains displayed with the vehicle.
• Complete MPI prior to initiating service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
• Return unused parts to the Desk Team and manage cores, batteries, and tires properly.
• Maintain minimum productivity targets and safe, organized shop practices.
• Participate in required training and certification for the position.
