Gersh Autism in Issaquah, WA, is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder under BCBA supervision. You will provide one-on-one instruction, implement BIPs and IEPs, and help students develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, collaborative planning with teachers, ongoing supervision, and adherence to ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification is required to qualify.
• Experience with ASD or in a special education setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs and IEPs as directed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one or small group support in classroom settings.
• Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress with accurate documentation.
• Assist in teaching strategies for academic, social, and behavioral development.
• Use behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills.
• Support daily living skills development, including communication and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development and BCBA supervision.
