Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision Surgery Center Bozeman LLC is seeking a part-time Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse to join our team in January 2027. You will obtain medical histories, perform pre-op assessments, and coordinate with perioperative staff to ensure a safe surgical experience.

The role emphasizes patient education, vigilant monitoring of vital signs, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia providers to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited RN program and active RN license.
• Experience in hospital and/or surgery center settings preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and improve clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient medical history and perform focused physical assessment pre-op.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-op care; obtain consent.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes per policy and protocol.
• Prepare patient for surgery and coordinate with perioperative team.
• Communicate with circulating, recovery, anesthesia, and surgeon to ensure safe care.
