BDO USA seeks an ASC 740 Managing Director to lead income tax accounting engagements for diverse clients across the U.S. This role emphasizes technical leadership, client contact, and staff development within the ASC 740 practice.

You will mentor teams, drive quality and efficiency, and collaborate with other service lines while staying current on regulatory changes and market trends. Strong client relationships and business development acumen are essential.

Qualifications

Ten or more years of ASC 740 accounting and reporting experience.
CPA, Attorney or EA designation required.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Multinational client experience preferred.
Masters in Accounting/Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee preparation and review of ASC 740 income tax provisions for clients.
Provide technical guidance on complex tax accounting issues.
Lead and manage multiple client engagements with quality, timeliness, and compliance with standards.
Develop and maintain client relationships as primary ASC 740 contact.
Mentor staff and contribute to business development efforts.
Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to clients.
Drive process improvements within the ASC 740 practice.
Travel as needed.
