Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an ASC 740 Managing Director to lead income tax accounting and reporting engagements in accordance with ASC 740 for a diverse client base. You will mentor staff, manage engagement teams, and drive business development while ensuring compliance with standards.

The role requires 10+ years of ASC 740 experience, CPA or similar, and ability to travel as needed. A Masters in Accounting/Taxation is preferred and multinational client experience is valuable.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of experience in income tax accounting and reporting under ASC 740.
• Experience managing ASC740 computations for privately held and/or publicly traded clients.
• Multinational client experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preparation and review of income tax provisions for clients.
• Provides technical guidance on complex tax accounting issues.
• Leads and manages multiple client engagements with quality and timeliness.
• Develops and maintains strong client relationships; primary contact for ASC 740 matters.
• Supports business development including proposals and client presentations.
• Mentors and evaluates ASC 740 staff and senior team members.
