Cribl, a remote-first B2B SaaS data observability company, is hiring a Technical Revenue Manager to own ASC 606 policies for new offerings and to partner with Product, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk. This role drives compliant revenue recognition across complex, multi-element arrangements.

The ideal candidate has deep ASC 606 expertise, strong technical writing skills, and experience in a SOX-compliant environment, with advanced Excel, NetSuite, and Salesforce proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting, with 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
• Deep ASC 606 expertise for multi-element arrangements.
• Experience with standalone selling price, POBs, variable consideration.
• Strong accounting research and writing skills; document position papers.
• Ability to influence without authority; explain concepts to non-accountants.
• Experience with revenue controls and SOX audits.
• Advanced Excel; NetSuite and Salesforce experience.
• Gen AI tools usage a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Enterprise Applications, Legal, and Deal Desk during inception phase to assess ASC 606 positioning.
• Author revenue accounting policies and position papers for new offerings prior to launch.
• Evaluate commercial structures, consumption-based models, multi-element terms for POBs and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and drive automation.
• Serve as primary contact for technical revenue with external auditors; maintain SOX controls.
• Support month-end and quarterly close and revenue reporting.
• Handle ad hoc accounting requests including M&A diligence and integration.
