Job summary

Cribl is seeking a proactive Technical Revenue Manager to join our finance team. In this individual contributor role, you will serve as our ASC 606 subject matter expert, authoring the positions and policies that let new offerings launch on a compliant, scalable footing.

You will partner with Product Management, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk, write technical revenue position papers, evaluate commercial structures, and support SOX controls and close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
• Deep, practical ASC 606 expertise for multi-element arrangements.
• Experience with standalone selling price, performance obligations, and contract modifications.
• Strong technical writing skills; able to produce audit-ready position papers.

Responsibilities

• Design and document revenue recognition policy for new offerings.
• Research, resolve, and write technical revenue position papers.
• Evaluate commercial structures, billing models, and POBs for ASC 606.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and automation.
• Serve as primary contact for revenue matters with external auditors; support SOX controls.
• Support month-end and quarterly close and revenue reporting.
