Cribl, a leading B2B SaaS data observability company, seeks a Technical Revenue Manager to join the finance team. You will serve as ASC 606 expert, authoring revenue policies for new offerings and partnering with Product, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure compliant, scalable revenue recognition.

You will research, write position papers, and lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize revenue processes and policy automation, while supporting audits and the month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
• Deep ASC 606 expertise across multi-element, consumption-based, and hybrid arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Sales, Legal and Deal Desk to assess revenue recognition for new offerings.
• Research and write technical revenue position papers documenting accounting conclusions.
• Evaluate commercial structures and deployment models for ASC 606 compliance.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale technical revenue processes and automate policy implementation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain SOX control documentation.
• Support month-end/quarterly close and revenue reporting as needed.
• Assist in merger and acquisition diligence and post-close revenue integration.
