Job summary

Cribl, a remote‑first B2B SAAS data observability provider, seeks a Technical Revenue Manager to own ASC 606 policy and policy papers for new offerings. You will partner with Product, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure compliant revenue treatment and scalable processes across global teams.

You will draft technical accounting papers, analyze complex transactions, and support audits, with a right mix of hands‑on and policy work in a growing AI‑driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2+ years in technical revenue.
• ASC 606 expertise for multi-element, consumption-based, hybrid arrangements.
• Experience with standalone selling price, POBs, variable consideration, and contract mods.
• Strong writing and research skills with policy/documentation experience.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and document ASC 606 revenue recognition policies for new offerings.
• Prepare revenue position papers and document accounting conclusions.
• Evaluate commercial structures and deployment models for ASC 606.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and automation.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors; maintain SOX documentation.
• Support month-end/quarterly close and revenue reporting.
