Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system and assist with data entry for each vehicle received at the Auction. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with handheld devices, and adherence to safety standards.

The position involves coordinating with transporters, placing labels, taking vehicle photos, and ensuring correct sale identification and check-in procedures, with an evening shift and no remote

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Input vehicle information into AS400 or relay data to co-worker for entry.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone and report transport damages.
• Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt and ensure correct windshield codes.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and follow all safety procedures.
