Job summary

Cox is seeking an associate to accurately enter vehicle data into the AS400 system as vehicles arrive at the Auction. You will affix barcodes, attach trackers, route vehicles, and ensure proper paperwork and safety protocols are followed.

The role requires basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 15 pounds. Experience in auctions or vehicle registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device for each vehicle received, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color and options.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Associate Tracker to WO# and install on OBD port or strap second-generation tracker around steering wheel.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles; flag 'no key' cars.
• Direct transporters to the proper drop zone; report transport damage as needed.
• Take digital photographs of vehicles at receipt.
• Provide sale identification windshield code to the driver at registration/check-in.
• Follow safety procedures and support Safety Excellence initiatives.
