Job summary

The Oklahoma Arts Council is seeking a part-time Community Arts and Workforce Coordinator to support statewide grants, rural outreach, Leadership Arts, and the Oklahoma Arts Conference. The role provides administrative and programmatic coordination with a focus on accuracy and responsive service.

This 15–20 hour per week position pays $27.00 per hour, reporting to the Director of Community Arts and Workforce Programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in organization, written and verbal communication, customer service by email, phone, virtual meeting, and in person.
• Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, records, communications, materials, or event logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support for grant-related activities.
• Assist with applicant and contact lists and with tracking; draft routine follow-up emails.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, travel, and events for grants, Leadership Arts, and the Oklahoma Arts Conference.
• Maintain records, calendars, templates, and standard replies; support program data and notes.
