Job summary

The Oklahoma Arts Council invites applications for a part-time Community Arts and Workforce Coordinator. This position provides administrative and program support for grants, Leadership Arts, the Oklahoma Arts Conference, and statewide outreach, reporting to the Director of Community Arts and Workforce Programs.

The role demands organized, service-minded staff who communicate clearly, coordinate schedules, manage records, and assist applicants, grantees, and partners across Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• An associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with or interest in grant funding, nonprofit work, and public service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related tech.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support for grant-related activities.
• Assist with applicant lists, mailings, and follow-up with grantees.
• Draft site-visit notes and maintain records.
• Support Leadership Arts program materials, rosters, and logistics.
• Coordinate logistics for the Oklahoma Arts Conference and related events.
• Prepare agendas, notes, and action-item lists for meetings.
