Job summary

Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT seeks a Company Manager to coordinate day-to-day artist logistics across itinerant productions, rehearsals, and residencies. Reporting to the General Manager (Finance & Operations), you will plan ahead, communicate proactively, and ensure artists have information and support.

This full-time, non-exempt role includes housing arrangements, travel coordination, per diem processing, and on-site coverage during key production periods, with occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• Approximately two years of relevant experience in company management, stage management, arts administration, or comparable work.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to balance priorities across multiple locations and teams.
• Familiarity with AEA requirements a plus and ability to coordinate scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate artist logistics during rehearsals, performances, and residencies, including housing and travel arrangements.
• Prepare and distribute schedules in coordination with artistic, production, and stage management staff.
• Provide on-site support during load-in/strike and other production periods.
• Track per diem, housing stipends, and travel reimbursements with the finance department.
• Support post-show events and community engagement activities.
• Assist with administrative duties for the General Manager and broader operations.
