Job summary

Two River Theater seeks a Company Manager to join the Production department in Red Bank, NJ. The role supports Artist Care initiatives with logistics and experiences for guest artists and contractors, reporting to the Associate Production Manager, Artist Care.

Hours align with rehearsal/performance schedules; typically Mon–Fri 10AM–6PM, with some weeknights/weekends for events. Housing coordination and project administration are key duties.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in company, production, or stage management.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, with tact, grace and discretion in stressful or sensitive situations.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Must have a clean driving record and maintain a valid driver’s license. Ability to drive company vehicles including a large cargo van.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for guest artists.
• Share on-call responsibilities for guest artists during their residency, maintaining a 10-mile radius while on call.
• Coordinate travel and housing for guest artists and staff as needed.
• Onboard, monitor, and respond to housing and hospitality needs.
• Administer apartment keys and building access, and coordinate activation/termination of access cards.
• Lead and conduct apartment and housing turnovers, cleanings, and laundry for over 17 properties when required.
• Track expenses and submit receipts for housing, streaming services, internet, and utilities.
• Maintain vendor relationships for cleaning services, local eateries, and businesses.
• Drive and manage company vehicles; coordinate regular vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with contracts for artists and payroll/union reporting.
