Job summary

Music Serving the Word Ministries (MSW) in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Artist Booking Specialist to source, book, and manage talent for Ravenscroft Hall, Jazzbird Lounge, and the Ravenscroft Recording Studio.

The role reports to the Director of Music and requires coordinating artist bookings, contracts, and licensing, while working closely with Operations, Finance, Productions, and Programs teams to ensure flawless events.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in artist booking, scheduling, operations, music business, representation of artists as an agent, or a related role.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• High attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort managing multiple schedules and deadlines.
• Experience working with contracts and agreements.
• Experience in music, arts, media, or creative environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for artists regarding bookings and scheduling for the Jazzbird Lounge, Ravenscroft Hall, and the Ravenscroft Recording Studio.
• Coordinate booking inquiries, availability, and confirmations; communicate clearly with artists regarding operations, logistics, and marketing plans.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Productions, Facilities, and Program teams to ensure smooth execution; coordinate artists’ requirements including stageplots, equipment, rehearsals, and sound checks.
• Prepare, coordinate, and manage artist contracts and agreements; track status and maintain records; provide reports on data.
• Complete quarterly BMI, ASCAP, and GMR reporting; support publishing, copyright, and licensing as needed.
• Oversee concert series directors; coordinate activities and communications to ensure successful programs.
