Bastion Bakery seeks a Bread Baker to deliver a refined artisanal bread program within a luxury corporate environment. Representing the Bastion brand, you will bake, maintain quality, and support catering for events while ensuring hospitality-driven service.

Requirements include 1–2 years of bread baking, knowledge of fermentation, shaping, and oven operation, plus flexible early-morning availability. Join a team focused on craftsmanship and meticulous standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional bread baking or high-volume artisan bakery experience.
• Strong knowledge of dough mixing, sourdough/pre-ferment maintenance, shaping techniques, and oven operation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, quality-driven culinary environment.
• Professional communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy bags of flour (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Flexible availability including early morning baking shifts and event support.

Responsabilités

• Scale, mix, shape, proof, and bake artisanal breads with consistency and efficiency.
• Follow recipes exactly,maintaining dough temperatures, fermentation times, and bake standards.
• Manage bakery production schedule and ingredient profiles to ensure quality and availability.
• Provide warm, professional service when interacting with colleagues and event teams.
• Monitor bakery equipment calibration and daily cleaning of mixers, proofers, ovens.
• Follow opening/closing procedures, production logs, and inventory checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of dough prep areas, flour storage, and back-of-house spaces.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder flours, grains, yeast, starters, and packaging.
• Adhere to health codes and allergen handling; ensure sanitation procedures.
• Support catering and private events with prep and packaging of bread items.
• Assist with light kitchen prep, oven management, and workspace maintenance.
