Bastion Hospitality LLC is seeking a Bread Baker to join our bakery team. You will assist in producing our bread program and seasonal specials across restaurant and bakery settings.

You will manage bread production, execute recipes, handle equipment, and ensure quality standards daily. This full-time role requires strong baking skills, clear English communication, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English.
• Must be able to work in limited space and reach other areas in a timely manner.
• Prolonged standing and ability to lift up to 30 pounds; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned areas of bread and pastry production.
• Execute recipes, maintain kitchen equipment, and be punctual.
• Use basic baking techniques: scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing.
• Mixing, shaping, baking dough; cleaning machinery; preparing ingredients; packaging final product.
• Ensure quality standards are met daily and restock as needed.
