The New Orleans Tribune is seeking a Pastry Cook to prepare pastry items for multiple dining outlets, cafes, room service, and banquets in a hotel setting. Adherence to recipes, safety, and sanitation standards is essential to deliver appealing products.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain high personal grooming and uniform standards, and support banquet events while ensuring timely service and minimal waste.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Food Prep or similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare pastry items following standardized recipes for Restaurant/Dining Outlet, Cafe, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria, and Banquets.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and work areas; minimize waste and maximize cost/production ratio.
• Prepare and display buffet food items according to Avion Hospitality standards.
• Maintain a post on the kitchen line during operating hours; prepare food to order with high efficiency and quality.
• Prepare food for Banquets and Associate Cafeteria as required; follow Boss/leader directions for specials.
