Alternate Ending Beer Co. in Matawan, NJ, is seeking a motivated team member for back-of-house roles. The position can be part-time or full-time, with opportunities to learn seasonal scratch cooking and artisan sourdough bread making, and a sign-on bonus paid at 3 months.

Qualifications

• Great attitude and team mentality.
• Love of food and hospitality.
• 1+ years in BOH preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand, and work in a kitchen with gluten and other allergens.
• Read and follow cleaning and safety protocols.
• Team player, help other departments with prep and cleaning.
• Attend meetings and trainings; focus on continuing education.
• Work with team to create specials and specialty items.
• Work holidays and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen operations.
