Job summary

The GIANT Company in West Chester, PA is seeking a Bakery Associate to support daily bakery operations, including decorating cakes, taking and finishing orders, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid identification
• Able to read, write, and communicate to perform duties
• Complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days
• Meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for the role
• Able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job
• Able to perform all job functions safely
• Meet company performance standards including regular attendance
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare with required PPE and supplies at the start of shift
• Mix frosting, decorate cakes, and complete cake-related tasks
• Take orders, complete orders, and store orders in the bakery cooler
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters
• Track and record loss
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation practices
